Le Bandit is Hacksaw Gaming’s crowbar-wielding raccoon, and he’s out to relieve the streets of Paris of their loose change.

It’s a six by five grid, cluster pays, and every win cascades. The winning symbols vanish, new ones drop in, and it keeps going for as long as new wins keep forming. Hacksaw calls them Super Cascades.

Here’s the clever part. Every position that takes part in a win leaves behind a Golden Square. If a Rainbow lands on the same spin, those squares light up and pay out. Bronze coins run from 0.2x to 4x your bet, silver from 5x to 20x, and gold goes up to 500x. You can also find four-leaf clovers that multiply the cells around them, and pots of gold that scoop up every coin on the board and keep the total as a multiplier.

The bonus buildup is where the volatility lives. Three scatters give you Luck of the Bandit, with the Golden Squares staying lit between spins. Four scatters upgrade you to All That Glitters Is Gold, with 12 spins. And five scatters trigger Treasure at the End of the Rainbow, where a Rainbow is guaranteed on every single spin. That last one can’t be bought, which is a nice touch.

Max win is 10,000x your bet. The top RTP setting is 96.34%, with lower versions around (94.23%, 92.17% and 88.36%), so check which one your casino is running. Volatility is medium, 3 out of 5 by Hacksaw’s own measure.

Playing the demo, the base game is busy and quick, and the cascades keep things moving even when the wins are small. The art is cartoon Paris done with real character, and the raccoon is a proper villain. It’s not a new release, it first launched back in August 2023, but it’s still one of the most inventive cascade games Hacksaw has made.
